A “Starbucks Meet-up” Strategy For Building Network Marketing In Your Local Area?

Can your local coffee house franchise actually assist you in growing your network marketing business. Can it be a springboard to major momentum? Can Starbucks help you become a star and make more bucks?  Yes it can.

It helped me and if done correctly can can help you do the same as well.

In this post I’m going to share the simply and effective strategy I used less than 90 days a go to not only reach out to my local community but how I also grew my primary opportyunity into a thriving city-based hotel meeting.

Let’s face it, everyone has a local market that they would so love to dominate. If you reside in a population  base that has several hundred to several million and no one in your respective company has targeted or capitalized on it, then the good news is the leader of that local market is none other than you. Yesm you heard me. It’s the person staring back at you in the mirror.

While most people are waiting for a leader to emerge in your town, city, sate or province before they take action or begin their network marketing quest. The obvious truth is that you are the one and there is no competition if you do what I’m going to sahre with you in the next few lines.

1. Created a short 1-2min video calling all local reps in my primary company to come and attend a fun casual meet-up  that will help these reps to connect with other local reps.

2. Post this video on all your video sharing, blogs and social media sites. Do this approx 8-10 days out to give attendees time to RSVP and book it in their calendars.

3. Create a  specific event that connects the video to that day, afternoon or evening event. ie facebook

4. As people respond, reach out to them in a real sincere way asking them what their biggest challenges or frustrations with their company is and ensure you confirm their attendance and the directions to the venue.

5. Book the venue and prepare the area for your casual meet-up ahead of time. ie chairs, tables etc. I chose Sbux because it is a more affluent type of coffee house tending to attract more upper-middle class traffic

6. Make sure you have the right attitude so that whether 2 or 22 show up, you’ll be there ready to connect with these reps and new prospects and that you will 2-3weeks later have another offline meet-up.

* [The real secret to this strategy is that it must be done consistently. One time is not enough]

At the meet-up the objective for you to facilitate a casual and comfortable exchange (over coffee) lol so you can get to know the local network marketing reps in your immediate region. To connect with local entrepreneurs from your city is the the purpose. Be relaxed, get to know everyone and have fun.

Don’t be pushy, salesy or come across anxious or needy. You’re not there to recruit. Just to connect. Instead ask information-gathering questions about all in attendance.  Write down names, numbers  & emails before the meeting ends. If you follow this format of  casual coffee shop format, I can assure you will have people come out to meet you the leader of this event. Don’t commiserate over those who do not show up. If you take interest in those who have shown up, they will almost always 99.9% ask you the question you’re waiting for which is. “What do you do?” or “can you tell me about your company?” This is not the point to drool, salivate or puke on your new friends. You can give a hand out or mention briefly some key info and/or book another specific time to re-connect to discuss your opportunity in detail.

The list of names, numbers and emails is now your master list to reference for follow-up and the next future meet-up. I think you’re now getting the concept of how a casual meet-up can bring local networkers to you!

What To Do After You Leave Your Company’s Live Event?

In our business and on our team  the philosophy of success is simple.  There are 3 mandatory things that any serious network marketer MUST do to experience exponential growth especially after leaving a motivating live event. Let’s face it we all have been there right? we get jacked up with the company event with the other 100o reps only to find ourselves back in that seat next event at the same level or worst less than where we were.

You see while many attend an event and leave elated, some just never seem to translate the feeling, the excitement, knowledge  and desire into any real results. What then is the solution. What component is missing? What is the strategy to get to the next level?

Here it  is.  The game plan to breakthrough?.  Simple. 1) Develop leaders, 2) duplicate with consistent work ethic and 3) build from event to event.

That’s it..

J. Paul Getty who made his billions in oil during the great depression once said…“I’d rather have 1 percent of 100 people’s efforts than 100 percent of my own.”

How tremendously profound & applicable his statement still almost eighty years later.

If there’s one key element we can all agree that will make the difference in the long-term profit, stability and success of your online or offline business, it’s one word — duplication. You see in network marketing, you can do it right and you can do it wrong.

Most get busy but never get productive.

Why?
Because if they want it done right they do it themselves. This axiom may be in fact be true in traditional business or self-employment but in mlm or network marketing, that is a formula for failure.

If you are to become successful and free in network marketing you must DUPLICATE.

Many people work hard but not smart. While hard work is admirable, smart work is more effective. Duplication allows you to get greater results with less effort while creating exponential growth for an entire organization instead of just a select few.

There are many people in the network marketing industry that are good, however he challenge is they never find or develop others be good, too! lol They are the king pin (as they say) doing all the meetings and thus all the work. That sounds funny I’m sure, but the reality is this.. If you never develop or train others to get to where you are at OR have others be able to do what you do and get the results you get, all you’ll have is a network marketing job. And Who wants that?

Listen by doing all the work constantly by yourself, you will only end up frustrated, and by yourself. Learn to start training other leaders and DUPLICATE your efforts. This will EXPLODE your results.  After all two things we all want to produce at the end of the day  is …TIME & MONEY which is FREEDOM.

So let me ask you, “Are you duplicating yourself? Are you training others to be as good or if not better than you? Are you seeking those leaders who want a large thriving and international business? Are you seeing yourself with 50 leaders like you backed up by 50 like you?

In closing remember the quote from J. Paul Ghetty,  I stared out this blog post with.  He said “I’d rather have 1 percent of 100 people’s efforts than 100 percent of my own.”

The day after a rocking PBR & a power packed training Christopher Paraldi and 4 star top ranked leader Erwin Mcken toured a special area of Toronto.

The area is called Little Italy.

Generate one more lead.

#2. MENTALLY BLOCK OUT WHAT OTHERS THINK OF YOU. So many future millionaires and or luxury resort contest winners lol are stalled NOT by their inability to do some mechanical task or even learn a slick new close tip. But rather they get beaten down by their own minds of what others think about them. Here s the freedom and complete solution to this metal road block. 995 of people are not even thinking about you. They are so bogged down by the drama and issues of their “own little lives” they are even remotely thinking of you. The pother fact is they are not paying your bills, feeding your children or taking care your welfare economically. So let’s get over that and ourselves right now!
