Amazing things are already happening on the team, so here is the final reminder. Whether you’re on my personal team in my primary company, or on another leaders’ team, we are getting ready to make a shift to help YOU propel your buinsess to a whole new level for 2012. I have shared part of the idea with some of you on a previous conference call I conducted, but not all of you were on the call so in this post, I want to outline exactly what we as are team are aiming to contribute to field plus what I am looking for from all of the potential participants by Feb 1st at 11:59pm. That means you. If you want to be part of this fresh project which I am referring to as The BigWave Project, keep on reading.

Last night we had a powerful team call that gave all of us inclusing Eva & I a chance to hear from just some of our partners and reps on “WMTYM” what matters to you most. we’ve been sharing this theme and concept with evryone that comes in contact with us and the response has been amazing. Last night was incredible and the comments keep pouring in. Next week we will hear another segment of reps share the same thing.

When we emphasis what matters to others by asking them the question, it puts them in a spot many have never been in for years or at all. Someone is actually paying attention to what they want. This can be the start of them accepting the truth that they do not want the same old mundane garden variety run-of-the-mill life. That they do want more… Let’s take a moment to ask this question to those we speak with, first before we share the details of our business. This is the message here. The idea is resonante with them before you educate them.

So we are ready to produce a short powerful engaging video that intruiges them to ask more info about our team, who we are and what we do…Are you ready to be part of it? If so, then this is where you can get involved if you choose.

For those of you who would like to participate, and be play a role in this collaborative effort (The BigWave Movement) creatng a different kind of propsecting video, here’s some examples of what we’re looking for below:

4. Attach your permission to use this footage in our final edit and you’re done!

The essence of this project is for you to be natural, sincere and real so you’re tell someone who listens to it what matters to you as a real person. (not a network marketer) and (not as a rep in your company)That’s what I am after so we can them find the best parts to express it in a edited polished 7-8 min final video. A video you can direct your prospects to before bomabarding their minds with info they’re not ready for. It’s so we can connect with others, qualify themsleves & save all of us time if they are not after the same things.
Again this is a completeley volunteer project and obviusly reserved only for members of Bigwave Marketing Team and of course exclusive to those active reps in our primary company.

Note:  Not everyone’s video will be used so the more submitted, the better the end product will be.

The 5 Types of MLM Companies & The Best One For You To Build

This blog has been in my head for several weeks now. I have tussled with writing about it but wanted to approach from a different angle. It’s longer than most but one that will not only inform but liberate people. The design is to help reps still confused and guilty from jumping from company to compnay, finally stop this insanity and learn what the “right business” really looks like. If you have ever been bound by cyclical behavior or know someone who is, this blog will uncover thaat this behaviour is rooted in a lack of understanding the differences between the 5 types of mlm companies and which one is the most desirable to build.

First off, did you know that there are 5 types? Regardless of product, compensation, service or advertising, they all fall into one of these categories. Five distinguishing features separate all 5000 different mlm companies in existence today. Here they are in no particular order. Party Companies. Product Companies Technology Companies, Trend Companies and  Lifestyle Companies.

The Party Company These were made famous in the early 30′s and before. Names like Avon, Amway, Fuller Brush & Shaklee all built their billion enterprises predominantly in the homes. Primarily and successfully marketed by women the company taugt these distributors (reps) to share and expose products & the company mission inside the living rooms and dens of families across North America for decades. What’s more interesting than the where is the what. They not only sold products and recruited, but they impacted an entire generation doing business this way. For many that impact was not just financial but personal. The improved quality of life people received was best thing they earned. The money was secondary. Distributors pledged their loyalty and stay years with these party companies despite other newer competitive options. We’ll re-visit the reason why this is, later on.

The Product Company Sell sell sell. You want it, they got it. less is not actually more, more is more. The product company’s mission is to get you to stock up and buy as much of the stuff they sell as possible. Volume reigns supreme not strategy. There’s not much to it. Get the customers and reps to buy large quantities and the company does exceedingly well. Many refer to this as inventory front loading.  Increasesd sales means increased profits and of course the above average rep who performs can in fact build huge sales and amazing incomes. But the distributor who doesn’t in turn sell it is left with old merchandies, expired perishables and lost income. Not fun. Also you can imagine when sales drop or yearly growth declines due to recession or a poor economy, a shift in buying occurs casuing stagnation and inevitably, bankrupcies. Product that just sit on warehouse shelves and don’t get moved produce collapsing infrastructure due to non-sustainability. No buying means no business and doors close. You know you’re in a product driven company because you have to be very skilled in sales to truly succeed and constantly keep selling.

The Technology Company These types of visonaires develop ground breaking concepts, devices or ideas that make others obsolete. Because of cutting edge thinking, they surpass the competition like they’re standing still. While their competitors scramble these behemoths that chart new courses and boldly go where others fear to tread literally re-write the history books and are remembered for their stark innovation. People are and will always have attraction to tech companies because of the appeal and sexiness of being with leaders that are doing new things.The down side however is two-fold: competitiveness and improvement. With tech companies, if you are not staying sharp and ever improving, you won’t be able to keep up and  surpass your fierce competition.The technology becomes an double edges sword and can prove challenging proposition meanwhile trying to keep new customers engaged and reps motivated to stay for the journey. You know you’re in a technology company, because you must think long term and prepare for many changes.

The Trend Company Being ahead of the curve and by using timing to get a winning advantage in business is what every trend company does. Although it might be an average product, it’s really about an idea or concept whose time has come. The real success here is timing a product or idea before the masses figure it out and start demanding it. Examples of such industries are Computer, Travel, Financial Services, Telecommunications and my personal favourite Bottled Water. This turns average into the miraculous. A trending company really becomes wealthy fast not just because they are smart but more because their early. Right place right time. Like a major league baseball player strikes the ball at an optimum spot on his bat. What would have been a foul ball becomes a grand slam event. To fully grasp the power of a trend company is to learn the S-curve. Keeping it simple, there are three phases that comprise this. Infancy/Pioneering, Take-Off/ Critical mass and Acceptance /Maturity. Their secret is to be in at the early phase. But once phase two begins (Critical Mass) the momentum brings great with it historic success as the most money is earned & greatest amount of millionaires created. You know if you’re in a trend company because the faster you get to the future, the closer you are to critical mass and the less inclined you are to leave.

The Lifestyle Company This type of company is unique for several reasons. They have TWO products. One is their auto-ship or the item they sell. The other product though, is lifestyle. That obvious one is easy for any of the previously described companies to sell. Vitamins, cosmetics, coffee detergent, cell phones etc But the lifestyle company does things completely different and it works trememdously. They actually do not focus on selling only the obvious but seek to emphasize the un-obvious product- lifestyle their reps can create. You see lifestyle is actually not a physical item. It’s an idea, aconcept, way of living and one everyone relates to and connects with. Regardless of how extraordinary the product or complex and enticing the compensation. Here’s why it works. 100% of human beings are in love with it. 100% of individuals don’t have enough of it and 100% of people know someone who would want  more of it too.

It’s weaved into the very fibre of the marketing, mantra and mission statement and is what is used to glue what people want to the business they will build to get it. It is less theoretical and more pratical. While a message that $5000 extra a month is good and logical, for the lifestyle company, they ask “What would your life look like with an extra $5000 a month? Would you have more time with your family, travel more with your spouse. Pay off that mortgage debt early or retire your parents?” The difference is they paint a clear picture of lifestyle and continue to put it out in front of the product. Lifestyle companies evoke a strong and irrestsitable emotion among their reps and create a culture of passion. They inspire so well they get the best of their reps in the field to produce the best in their company’s growth. How? Not by pushing products but re-focusing average people on what really matters to average people.

The most fundamental philosophy the lifestyle company does to instill this into the core of their brand is they teach this relentlessly: If you build the person, they will build the business. Attach an emotion to the business that people cannot shake.They endorse this axiom of human psychology by affixing it to every marketing piece they produce, every opportunity they get.The lifestyle company knows that people make decisions emotionally to build their company but then after justify it with logic. You know if you’re in a lifestyle company because your wife, husband, kids are the reason you’re there building it and you cannot walk away from that.

So if you had to choose a company that gives you the greatest odds of long term success keeping you engaged and others in your down-line stimulated for decades, which would you choose? Here’s what I suggest for you to rank them. A Lifestyle and Trend company utilizing a party style methodology, is the best blend. Technology is risky and I certainly would never choose a product-driven one and for the reasons I covered above.

The mlm junkies among us have a tough decison to make today after reading this, but one that should be a whole lot clearer. Even if you’e not a junkie but been slightly confused as to the type of company you’re in regarding viabilty and sustainabilty, just ask yourself  ”Am I in a “_________” company? and you’ll now be able to tell.

Putting Quality Ingredients Into Your MLM Team: 6 Ways To Sponsor Up

Here’s a short commerical video my beautuful and talented chef-wife Eva Mcken inspired me to record. While cooking up one of her healthy new dishes for dinner,  I couldn’t help notice the smell but more importantly the lesson it was eminating throughout the kitchen. I know you’l agree with me after you read this blog post.

Take a look and tell me if you have been putting THIS ingredient into your newtork marketing equation. I’ll explain after you watch it below, just why you cannot afford to eliminate these 6 ingredients as you put your mlm recipe together.

So why would you want to make sure the ingredients in your business team starts with quality. For the simple reason that what you put into the recipe is what you get out. Someone once said you cannot bake a good apple pie recipe with rotten apples. This got me thinking about the kinds of teams people develop in network marketing. Why are some reps stronger than others? Why are some reps stronger leaders than others? Why do some reps duplicate better than others? and why do some reps make more money than others? Fundamentally it is one thing QUALITY and that is affected by a concept called sponsoring up. Sponsoring up is what the next few lines are all about; things you can do to give yourself an advantage so you end up getting what you want instead of settling for what you get.

Here are 6 ingredients to always think about when aiming to sponsor or enroll up.

1. Is this person hungry? Do they have strong & clear desire. If they want more in life they will be motivated to do something about changing where they are.Hungry people change their lives and impact others around them with that change.

2. Prospect in areas where sharp people frequent, not just where needy people commiserate. ie low grade malls and sketchy parts of town are not where winners hang out. Business Forums, Trade Shows, Art Galleries, Business Centers, Internet Cafes, Fitness Centers, Home & Improvement, Boating Shows, Boutiques and Fine Dining Establishments and Country Clubs.

3. Don’t offer to pay people’s enrollment fee into the business because they promise to “build it big!” I have always found those that build never brag or require a deal or bribe -they just do it. Anything that doesn’t cost someone something is never valued. In our company it stand to reason we begin both with a value mindset in the reps we attract and the  products we market. Value is what we are all about, people first and then our products.

4. Challenge them correctly. A truly sharp and successful person is comfortable and accustomed to the process of growth, change and even struggle. So if they have been familiar with success in the past then they shouldn’t be too bent out of shape to hear from you what it really takes to succeed in this new business. Be honest, be straight and tell them like it is. You’ll find you’ll turn off the posers but motivate the leaders.

5. Never assume they aren’t looking. Successful people and those who want more are always looking and keeping their radars and antennas up. If you ever meet a person who says they are successful but closed minded, you know they are not be telling the truth. Entrepenuers always look. While some may not be ready to do, they are alomst 90% open and willing to listen to any great concepts and innovative ideas that allow them to profit, succeed and grow even more than they have attained. Never ever never prejudge! That could cost you fortunes especially if they say yes and turn up in someone else’s network marketing team.

6. You be the “head chef!” What does that mean? It means you set the pace, you be the leader you want others to follow regardless of how amazing your new rep may be or profess to be. Remember that the recipe is only as good as the cook that makes it and in business, the speed of the team is determined by the speed of the leader!

The BigWave Movement: A Different Way To Prospect & Grow Your Business

Hi All, We told you some big things were coming for 2012, so here is the first of many. Whether you are on my personal team or a awesome members of my primary company, we are getting ready to make shift to help YOU catupult your buinsess into a whole new level for 2012. I have shared part of the idea with some of you on a previous conference call I conducted, but not all of you were on the call so in this post, I want to outline exactly what we as are team are aiming to contribute to field plus what I am looking for from all of the potential participants. We have many prospecting strategies and multiple tools to utilize. Things like Mueller’s Tax Brochures, Robert Kiyosaki CD’s, Garage Full of What Audios, Webinars, Sizzle Calls etc, All of these are valuable and I use as well. However when I step back and think about it, all of these tools tend to lean heavily on money, product(s) or a company profile or a detailed compensation, primarily. What several of the leaders and I have come to conclude is that 9 times out of 10 the real essence of “why” we build is overshadowed by the logic, details, numbers and sometime hype surrounding the “what” we do in our industry. So we decided to try something completely opposite. We believe it’s time to re-focus on the people. Bring it back to the fundamentals of humanity. Emphasis what matters and connects us all as teenagers, middle agers, singles, newlweds starting out, couples w kids, retirees, grand parents etc.

We agreed that the “who we are as people” and similarity of “what we truly desire” would be a refreshing introductory platform to expose our business when talking to new propects in 2012. So instead of extoling all the virtues of compensation only or logical product features solely, we create a tool that talks to them (our prospects) about about them as a them and not as a us. It would be no longer us doing this (business thing) and convincing them to do it too, but showing prospects that what we desired is the same thing they currently desire -and we found a way to acquire it. This flow would put guards down, get you out of sales mode and get people to tell you honestly if infact they are wanting to know what we know to experience what we are experiencing after watching it. The Power of Owning Your Dream Before You Have Your Dream

I had to share this thought with you today and give gratitude where and to whom it’s due. On our way back from our 6 night cruise in Mexico we had the blessing and pleasure of spending two fun-filled days with great friends, Numis 6 star leaders/upline and acclaimed international author-speaker-entrepreneur, Mr. Burke Hedges. Burke and his wife Christina are known in the business community and have built many successful companies and it was indeed an honor to be with them in their lovely home. They truly showed Eva & I their first class and amazing hospitality. But even beyond the great time we had, they shared generously and taught us a huge lesson in how to dream and how to dream bigger.

Today in our society you only have two kinds of people. Contrary to what we think it’s not republicans or democrats, not progresive or conservatives, not even protestants or Catholics. It’s dremers and non-dreamers. Often times we forget the value of having a dream and it gets lost and muddled in the noise of day to day life. The reality is this however, dreams are everywhere. They are all around us. From the bed you slept in last night, the light switch you flicked on in the morning, the coffee maker you brewed your cup of java in, to the tooth brush, hair dryer and vehicle you drove to work. I don’t care how you slice it (even the toaster) lol everything begins somebody’s dream. Stop for a moment and count how many dreamers’ products you touched today, you’ll be amazed. Whether you are a marketer or coach, parent or single, male or female, black or white, you cannot deny dreams we benefit from exit in our world as a result of a visionary person who never lost sight or gave up on it. From Henry Ford, The Wright Brothers,Thomas Edison, Washington Carver to Bill Gates and the late Steve Jobs of Apple. Thank God for dreamers!

But how did these dreamers past and present realize their dreams? They did it by doing one crucially important thing. The same thing that Burke taught us the short trip from his home to the Tampa airport. It is this: You must touch your dream in order to possess your dream. Not only must you touch it mentally, but physically. You have to hold it not only in your mind but in your hand in order to possess in actuality one day. Author Napoleon Hill said it this way, “Whatever the mind of a man or woman can conceive and believe he can achieve.”

So what’s the point of this blog today? Several. 1) To give gratitude and big love to an awesome and bonified dreamer in our lives and team, Burke and Christina Hedges who paused long enough and caused Eva and I  to feel the dream (literally) in our hands. We thought we had it held in our minds so well already, but they helped us make it come alive even more in a stronger way. By driving one of our next goals for those who are familiar on our team those few minutes fortifed our dream to understand this truth. We already posses it.

2) To remind you that you’re also a dreamer and to not let it slip away in the cares of everyday life or busy-ness of day to day activity. I do know not all dreams can be physically held but that is when you hold them in your mind as Napoleon Hill teaches us above. The key here is to grasp the message. Ensure you take ample time every month at the very least to go touch, feel, smell, ride, sit in or walk through your dreams. Bring it close. Affix the emotion to it. Make it personally inseparable to you and your family. This way you bring it into the present instead of leaving it in the hope realm only. Then you’ll feel what we felt while driving to the airport with our amazing friends – see our dream come alive courtesy of Burke Hedges below.

How To Awaken the Dream in Your Prospects Before Showing Them Your Business

This post today is for several folks. It for those who read my previous post that generated tons of interest and agreement about why we build a network marketing business in the first place. It’s for those who know we must get back to basic fundamentals on how to get ourselves dreaming again and get motivated to take action. It’s also for those to get their prospects in the first 5 min of any presentation they do, dreaming again just like that kid in us all used to dream. You remember, that kid in each of that knew nothing was impossible? Getting people dreaming before we show them the plan is like setting a dinner table properly before serving the delicious meal. No one ever enjoys food, if their not really ready to eat.

Here in this post I will cover 3 simple questions you can ask anyone on a plane, train or automobile, before the start of any meeting you host either in a hotel, office or home TO GET ‘EM DREAMING ONCE MORE!

If you’ve read any personal development books worth their salt, you know this one thing: it’s always about the prospect – not you. It’s about communicating a message to THEM and connecting that message with a strong emotional signal which is either a place, event, feelings or even a problem your prospect is facing. Solving the problem does come but comes after we get it out of them IF we are to help them solve it. You see If we all are going to become better and more skilled marketer, then we must listen, learn and understand what our audience wants and is looking for. That market is your prospect and when you have theri undivide attention, that’s your cue to use these questions.

Preface the 3 questions by letting them know you will cover all the details in a minute, but that they’ll be able to grasp the business/product information best once you understand their needs better. Also tell them their time is important to you and that is also the reason for asking what you’re asking. Respecting them is huge and speedy way to grab their focus (from the busy day they had) so they know you’re in the moment and not simply rehearsing a script to them. Trust me, that never works. Just be real, genuine and present. and watch their eyes as they respond to you.

Ask them to share a past highlight, achievement, success story or positive memory with you and then ask why was this event so memorable? Why? Because this let’s them reach into the non-factual left-brained emotional side of their minds and shift them cerebrally. They may not know this is happening but it is. So many times we start talking about numbers and digits and stuff when they actually don’t care. Once we get them to a state of appreciating something of high value and importance (like a memory or achievement)  we’re on our way.

Secondly, ask them about the most important people in their lives are? As you can imagine, most will say their children and spouse/family and if they have no kids it’s still usually their family members. It’s always interesting to me that 99% time it’s never strangers or actors or historic characters. While we know we have great historians who have greatly impacted us, the most special people to us are those we are in close relationship with. This is the key because whom ever they state as the answer to this 2nd question is usually who they would do anything in life for. I know no honest parent that would not give their 100% all for their children and family. We as authentic and smart reps need to know who these important people in our prospects lives truly are.

Lastly you want to ask what they would change in their life if they could do it instantly? This questions gets them imagining, creating and opening their mind to possibility. It cause them to either remind them self of what really matters/ what them mad, happy, sad or inspires them to do something about it. Either one of these works because it gets their vibration AT THAT SECOND TO CHANGE to a higher level than just what they had for lunch or what tasks they have to do tomorrow at the office. These three questions have evoked, memory, importance and change, just some of the biggest people motivators human psychologists have studied and agree move people to decison and action. Ever great leader, political figure, historic or present, good or bad has always had buring passion or purpose that drove them to to what they do. And it’s that these questions stir and evoke.

Now are these three the only questions you can ask, certainly not but you get the idea here. Ask your prospects about what matters to THEM. Some other questions could be:
What would you do if time & money were no option?
If I would pay for two week vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Who would you take with you on that vacation?
What is your favorite charity and how much would you really like to donate to them?
How does the idea of residual income, make you feel?

When would you like to retire from your job?

You get the idea. Now once they tell you, bridge the gap from what they desire to what you do. Let them know that the business vehicle or concept you are getting ready to share with them has helped you and others achieve great memories, major benefits and helped many make changes positively for their families’ future. You will see that your presentations will have more resonance because now they are listening for how the program can be of benefit to them, not just you.

Can you see how this can awaken the kid in them? The mini super hero who used to dream big and believed they could do and be anything they imagined. You see in most cases, they reason they stopped dreaming is someone told them they had do stop and that there was no way to have it and that they should be realistic. SHOCKING NEWS: The Real Product in Your MLM Isn’t What You Think it is

Last night I conducted an extremely important conference call and shared an eye opening revelation with close to 100 of my network marketing team. I say revelation because after you read what I will share in this blog post today you might come away from it with it saying, “wow I never considered that perspective” Are you’re ready to have a real paradigm shift in the way you’ve been building your network marketing business? I hope you are. What I told my team is that I had to shut down my old business practices and start afresh. I declared to them that I am returning to what I’ve always known was a time tested and proven thought process. I just had not officially announced it until last night and now in this blog post. So if you’re ready for it, let’s go.

Let me cut right to it. I like you I’m sure are tired of seeing good people struggle in this industry when it comes to retention. Contrary to popular belief the biggest challenge is not recruiting, but retention. It’s not putting people in, it’s holding people in so they can build and see their dreams come true. Isn’t it exhausting to see and also experience people enroll with you, take minimal action and then stop only to find themselves doubting and second guessing the opportunity. Let me set ot straight, the problem isn’t with the opportunity, comp plan or marketing brochures either. It’s not the website, infrastructure or triple-coded matrix bonus. And although we’re not talking about leads in this post, it’s not even that. The issue is they’re confused. There is mass confusion out there today as to what our real product is and how to market it correctly in network marketing. Add a cluster of noise online and you have a recipe for frustration and limited success. But that is about to change today.

You see if you do not understand what our real product is, you’ll continue to fall into the same trap; thinking the items we sell on our websites are the same as what motivates people to join, remain and build long sustainable organization. It’s imperative to learn that what your company sells and what reps, enrollees and distributors desire are two completely different things. Test it out, What do you truly desire? What is your company’s auto-ship? Not necessarily the same, is it? No one ever woke up and shouted at the top of there lungs “I wanna sell detergebt or colon cleanse!”

So what is our product? If you say toothpaste, cosmetics, soap, travel, legal service or even coins, I’m sorry to tell you you’re still confused and will continue to struggle as you sponsor. Our product is people, building their belief so they can eventually live their dreams. Note to self: If you focus on building the person, they will always build the business. Ignore the people factor and only pump products on them and you’ll lose them faster than they came in. It’s like a waiter never asking you what you want but telling what you’re going to have to eat. Instead of talking about charts and bar graphs, inspire them with freedom, family, marriage, manhood, leadership, lifestyle, values, early retirement, children, future, financial independence etc You’ll wake people up with that!

The history of mlm success in  past 100 plus years shows us this fact in such a clear and irrefutable way. From early 1930′s with home party company’s, ladies cosmetics company’s leading up to the famous 1959 launch of a small company called Amway has now become the biggest global success story within the industry. What these behemoth mega billion dollar companies prove is that the product was never soap, makeup, plastic containers or vitamins. The real product is people.Specifically the dream these people have, hold and desperately want to realize and build with every fiber of their being.

Now don’t misunderstand these legendary products were good items, they were needed and required items in order to create a viable opportunity for profit. But what I submit to you is this: these company’s that hold industry records with bonified massive revenues, multiple top level earners and million-dollar lifestyles were all built on one thing. PEOPLE and THE DREAM and not just the products. They built their success on RELATIONSHIPS, FAMILY and FREEDOM and by keeping the dream alive in front of the distributors as best they could, they created a community a culture a commitment like glue that those same reps emotionally could not walk away from. Furthermore there was no YouTube, Google, SEO, landing pages or autorepsonders and certainly no internet back then. However and ironically, it forced those men and women doing business to spin a dream whenever they would stand up and share in front of their prospects in meetings they conducted. It’s truly remarkable when you honestly let this fact sink in.

So here’s the point. If you’ve been building your business only thinking your vitamin is the product- it’s not. If you believe your travel service or coffee is the product -you’ve missed it. Even with our company’s product which is a global industry-category first with zero competition in collectible assets arena, I hate to break it to you, it’s not. Our product is people and by neglecting them, we are actually showing them only 50% of the opportunity. It’s only half of the solution. Doing this is not only wrong, it’s uninspring and poor time management. If you’re going to book time to sit with and give your prospects the full scope of who we are, make it count for them.  Why wouldn’t  you want to start the process with what matters most to them? By understanding their dream you get their attention and now you have them locked into what you can offer.

So here’s a mental shift with huge effect that I suggest for you to begin implementing immediately. Write this down. Whenever you sit with or book an appointment to present your opportunity to them, always start by asking them this question. Before I share what we do let me ask you a simple question: “WHAT REALLY MATTERS MOST TO YOU IN YOUR LIFE?” Listen. When they tell you the answer, here is what has occured. You’ve got them to tell you what their dream is and you have focused yourself back to what the real product of our industry is. People and their dream. Knowing what their dreams are (or perhaps even their pain) allows you to remind them when they forget or get weary of whay they’re building. It’s this emotion that fuels the reason to persist and not quit. It’s what every mlm success story is all about. Never forget that human beings are triune, (spirit, soul and body) They’re not just cerebral. They make decisions emotionally and then justify them logically -not the other way around.

I challenge you to go out this week and start fanning the flame of people’s dream and watch your business transform. Some of you may even have to strike a match to re-ignite the fire that has gone out. But when you do, what you’ll observe is more people (reps) will gravitate to you faster, greater emotional bonds between reps and you will get stronger and finally leaders on your team will emerge to make the big commitment. A commitment to reach people with a dream and to change and impact lives!

So the best way I can sum it up is in the words of the legendary author, speaker, and coach, Zig Ziglar, “If you will go out and help enough other people in life  get what they want, you you will automatically get what you want”

Back From Our FREE Mexico Cruise w Company Leaders & Memories Galore

Eva and I just got back a few days from being aboard Royal Caribbean’s luxurious Jewel of the Seas for 6 days. We were there with approx 206 business partners in our network marketing company Numis Network and boy oh boy  it was a experience that will go down in the history books for years to come. I knew it was going to loads of fun, laughter, good times and memories but it was even better than I had anticipated. Another reason you just cannot afford to miss any future trips. Here in this blog post that has been several days overdue I will highlight some memorable moments as best I can to give you a taste of the week long party! But before I do,  just what is a memory and why is it so essential?

A memory is a moment. A memory tells a story. A memory is deeply personal. It is your experience. It’s one that you and you alone keep and treasure for lifetime which no person can ever take from you. It’s also waterproof, fire-proof and damage-proof so no matter what anyone else says or thinks, it stays secure in your possession forever. And just why is this so vital as you build your business? Well, because these memories you create will shape you and your future. This is exactly what a week aboard Jewel of The Seas on the on The Gulf of Mexico having a blast with 200 plus friends was all about for those who attended.

Here’s a list of just some of the fun-filled and dynamic events we enjoyed. On our first evening we had a meet & greet reception for all the cruise winners on Sat night as we pulled away from Tampa. Over chilled champagne we all of us got together and celebrated each other for doing what it took to earn the trip. We also congratulated several special people on their new wedding engagements and wedding anniversaries. Many that were long overdue. What a special way to celebrate that right? The next morning we assembled casually and were impacted by a powerful training to equip us to become better business builders and leaders. VP of our companies’ marketing dept, Matt DiMaio empowered us all with how to create a better memory and powerful mind. WOW!! After dinner where we feasted on some amazing gourmet dishes and after some returned to the casino to try and win some more money, others went to boogy and dance up a storm in the night club. Others found bliss winding down the night with a nice romantic walk hand in hand with their loved one on the top deck of our 130,000 ton cruise liner under the stars of the night sky.

The next couple days were spent at port relaxing, reminiscing and recharging. Personally we drove out to a beautiful beach resort called Paradise Island in Cozumel and the next day we headed to Tequila Beach in Puerto Costa Maya. Both days we just lay back and soaked up the sun, built friendships, dreamed bigger while having amazing conversations in the tropical ocean air. Some reps got ocean side massages for hours, others paddle boated with their kids while others kayaked to cool off. But what we all did and was something I was truly was excited to see the group participate in was actually for me the #1 highlight of the entire week.What was it you ask? Personal testimonial videos. Almost everyone who won the trip recorded their own heart felt testimonial video. I had never seen this happen before as a company.We had our very own company camera crew capture in the word of the qualifiers the true essence of what this business means to us all. We all shared live on camera (on the ship & at the beaches) just what the lifestyle experience of being part of the is this company/team of leaders was doing in our lives and for our families. Can I tell ya, I just cannot wait for you to see them once they are edited and uploaded on our new website coming soon.

Now why would I say that testimonial videos were a highlight above snorkeling, winning money in the casino, sunbathing or even indulging in amazing cuisine nightly. Simple because for the first time I witnessed people actually beginning to grasp and understand the real value of what our amazing network marketing business Numis is truly all about. It’s always been people and not just products. Amazingly enough unless asked about it,  the common point all our reps talked about was the priceless relationships we made far out weighing the value the gold & silver we love to collect.

The final sea day as we headed back to Tampa, we concluded our team building session inside the theatre of the ship where we talked abut a fundamental topic that honestly just doesn’t get enough air time. The Dream. All I can say is that there were a lot of motivated, insired and enthused reps after hearing the co-founders, Dave Lovett, Ray Higdon and yours Erwin Mcken build their dream. I felt a tide turn, our ship take a new course as now more than ever before reps verbalized how ready they were to hit the ground running in 2012 to make their dreams a reality.

This incentive trip was tons of fun, tons of laughter and a lot of sheer craziness, just ask anyone who won it, but for me and many of our 35 attendees from our BigWave team – it was an epic memory and a shift to the real reason we are building network marketing in the first place. Lifestyle and Lifetime relationships. This year make your business and future happen. Come join us on the next cruise trip and never ever miss another chance to make memories galore!
